The victims, a 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, were found under circumstances that have led the Arkansas State Police to classify the case as a suspected homicide.
The Arkansas State Police's criminal investigation unit is actively engaged in this case, seeking to uncover the details surrounding the deaths. Authorities have identified a potential suspect: a white male who was last seen wearing dark shorts, a dark tank top, and weight-lifting gloves. This individual was reportedly driving a black, four-door sedan, which may have had its license plate obscured by electrical or duct tape.
The vehicle is believed to have been traveling on State Highway 170 or State Highway 220, in proximity to the state park. This crucial information may assist investigators in tracking down the suspect and bringing them to justice.
