Wang emphasized, “There are more than 190 countries in the world.” He cautioned that if every country were to adopt an “my country first” mentality, the repercussions would be dire: “Smaller and weaker countries would bear the brunt first, and international norms and order would take a body blow.” These remarks were made during his 11th news briefing at the annual “two sessions” gathering, an event that showcases China's perspectives on pressing global challenges.
