Apple has officially launched AppleCare One, a revolutionary coverage plan designed to streamline protection for multiple Apple products under a single, affordable plan. Priced at just $19.99 per month, customers can safeguard up to three devices, with the flexibility to add additional items for $5.99 per month each. This new offering provides customers with a seamless service experience, ensuring peace of mind through expert support for all devices included in the plan.
Starting tomorrow, customers in the U.S. can easily enroll in AppleCare One through their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by visiting a nearby Apple Store. Bob Borchers, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, emphasized the company's commitment to enhancing user experiences, stating, “At Apple, we’re focused on creating and delivering exceptional experiences.” He noted that AppleCare One builds on the trusted framework of AppleCare+, making it simpler than ever to protect beloved devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch while providing outstanding value.
With AppleCare One, users benefit from all features of AppleCare+, which includes unlimited repairs for accidental damage, 24/7 priority support from Apple experts, and fast access to Apple-certified service. Notably, this plan also expands theft and loss protection beyond just the iPhone, covering the iPad and Apple Watch as well. This means that customers can enroll their devices and save up to $11 per month compared to enrolling in separate AppleCare+ plans for each device, providing significant savings.
In a notable enhancement, AppleCare One allows customers to add already-owned eligible devices that are up to four years old, provided they are in good condition. This flexibility enables users to protect their devices even if they missed the traditional 60-day window for purchasing AppleCare+. This feature ensures that customers have more options to maintain coverage for their essential devices.
AppleCare One simplifies plan management for customers. When a user trades in a covered device directly to Apple, it is automatically removed from the AppleCare One plan and replaced with the new device. This monthly plan structure allows customers to maintain coverage as long as they wish and manage their devices with ease, adding or removing items as necessary.
