Sony has officially announced the launch of its exciting new PlayStation rewards program, called Franchise Rewards, which is available starting today. This innovative program is designed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 users, allowing them to earn exclusive merchandise based on their gaming achievements, particularly their Trophy completion.
The inaugural release of the Franchise Rewards program features exclusive items inspired by the critically acclaimed game, Ghost of Tsushima. Players who have successfully completed the campaign in either the base game or the Director's Cut and earned the Mono No Aware Trophy will have the opportunity to purchase a limited-edition t-shirt and pin. The t-shirt is priced at $30, while the pin will cost $25.
To access these exclusive rewards, players need to log into their PSN account on the Ghost Rewards website. If you're aiming to snag both the t-shirt and the pin, it is essential to have earned the coveted Platinum Trophy. The t-shirt and pin are available for shipping in several regions, including the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe (EU, Monaco, Norway, and Switzerland), and the UK.
To qualify for purchasing these exclusive items, gamers must have earned the necessary Trophies by 31st December 2025. Once you meet this requirement, you will have until 31st January 2026 to make your purchase. For those who have already achieved the required Trophies, you can log onto the website and buy the merchandise immediately.
Looking ahead, Sony plans to expand the Franchise Rewards program later this year to include merchandise from the upcoming title, Ghost of Yotei. This move appears to be a strategic shift as Sony phases out its previous digital rewards program, PS Stars, offering physical rewards as a more appealing alternative to players.
