As part of the anniversary celebrations, all Heroes in the game will be available for free from now until June 15th. This is a fantastic opportunity for players, both new and returning, to explore the diverse roster of heroes without any cost.
In addition to free access to heroes, all players will receive two new portraits to commemorate the 10-year milestone. These portraits serve as a badge of honor, showcasing your participation in this beloved game.
For players who have been looking to purchase gems, there’s good news! You can now buy gems directly from the Battle.net shop. The gem quantities have been standardized across all regions, and prices have been adjusted accordingly. Notably, the previous bonus value has been incorporated into the new pricing structure.
Additionally, the homescreen and startup music have been updated, bringing a fresh feel to the game. Players should be prepared for a wave of nostalgia as they launch the game with the new startup loading screen.

The patch also addresses several bugs across various heroes, enhancing gameplay and performance:
Brightwing: The minimum cast range for Arcane Flare (Q) has been removed, and it no longer bypasses flight time when cast within Brightwing’s space. E.T.C.: Fixed missing cast animations for Power of the Horde at level 20, along with the visual effects. Additionally, E.T.C. will now face the direction of the cast when using Ride the Lightning. Gazlowe: The minimum cast range for Grav-O-Bomb 3000 has been removed, and it no longer bypasses flight time when used within Gazlowe's space. Hanzo: The minimum cast range for Sonic Arrow (E) has also been removed, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience. Murky: Similar adjustments have been made to Pufferfish (W), removing the minimum cast range. Orphea: A fix has been reverted for Shadow Waltz (Q), as it was preventing her from dashing after hitting an enemy hero. The team will continue to investigate this issue. Tychus: The minimum cast range for Frag Grenade (W) has been removed, enhancing his usability.With these changes, players can expect a more refined and enjoyable experience in Heroes of the Storm.
