Samsung has officially launched its latest software, One UI 7, which is based on Android 15, coinciding with the highly anticipated release of the Galaxy S25 series in January. The new flagship smartphones, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra, come equipped with the latest software right out of the box. However, existing Galaxy phone users have been eagerly awaiting the rollout of this update for their devices. Recently, Samsung has provided an update regarding which models are set to receive One UI 7, with several already starting to receive the upgrade.
As of now, a stable version of One UI 7 is being rolled out to various models, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24+, S24, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Users across multiple regions, such as Europe, the U.S., and Canada, have reported receiving this significant update, which is approximately 5.2GB in size and includes the April security patch.
The global Samsung newsroom recently shared the update schedule for One UI 7. The rollout commenced on April 7 for the following devices: the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, along with the Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
While the initial rollout is limited to a select number of Galaxy phones, Samsung Korea has released an extensive schedule indicating further devices that will receive One UI 7 in the coming months. Here’s the timeline shared by Samsung on its Community app in Korea:
It is important to note that this timeline is specifically for the Korean market. However, users worldwide can expect to begin receiving the stable One UI 7 update shortly after their Korean counterparts. Samsung enthusiasts are hopeful that the rollout will proceed without further delays, allowing them to explore exciting new features such as the Now Bar, enhanced user interface, and numerous other improvements offered by One UI 7.
