Samsung has officially commenced the stable rollout of One UI 7 for users of the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6, catering to both beta and non-beta versions of the operating system. This significant update, weighing approximately 5.2GB, introduces a variety of new features, enhancements, and innovative Galaxy AI functionalities, in addition to the latest April security patch.
On April 7, Samsung fulfilled its commitment by starting the rollout of the stable build of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 users in Korea and other regions. According to tech analyst Tarun Vats, the initial release of the stable version was aimed at Galaxy S24 users who had previously participated in the beta program. The build numbers for these devices are F956NKSU2BYCK, F956NOKR2BYCK, and F956NKSU2BYCG.
Furthermore, users of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in Korea have also started receiving the stable release. The rollout has swiftly extended to non-beta users, specifically those utilizing the Galaxy S24 series with build numbers S928NKSU4BYCG, S928NOKR4BYCG, and S928NKSU4BYCG. Non-beta users of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the same region are also receiving the much-anticipated One UI 7 update.
The One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, is distinguished by its substantial size of around 5.2GB and includes the latest April security patch. While Samsung began releasing beta versions for the Galaxy S24 series and the aforementioned foldables last year, the stable release was notably delayed compared to previous iterations. This upgrade is significant, bringing a multitude of new features, enhancements, and advanced Galaxy AI innovations.
The Galaxy S24 series comes with a promise of seven years of OS upgrades, and this stable release marks the first major update since the devices shipped with One UI 6 upon their launch last year. As the first devices to receive the stable version of One UI 7, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 are paving the way for the upcoming updates for predecessor models.
In addition to the immediate rollout for the Galaxy S24 series and new foldables, Vats has shared what appears to be the official rollout schedule for One UI 7. This schedule indicates that other Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Z Flip 3, S23 FE, A34, A35, S22, S21 series, as well as the Tab S9 and S8 series, are all set to receive the stable One UI 7 update next month.
As Samsung continues to enhance its software offerings, users can look forward to the latest features and improvements promised by the One UI 7 update, ensuring a richer and more secure experience across their Galaxy devices.
