Razer is set to revolutionize the gaming laptop market once again with the launch of its new Blade 14. Following the recent enhancements made to its larger 16-inch counterpart, the Blade 14 promises to deliver a combination of portability and high performance. This sleek device will feature an RTX 5060 GPU starting at a price of $2,299.99, with an upgrade option to the RTX 5070 available for $2,699.99.
Razer claims that the Blade 14 will not restrict the powerful RTX 5070 within its thin profile, as it is capable of achieving its maximum TGP (Total Graphics Power) of 115W. Both the 5060 and 5070 variants of this gaming laptop are slated for release in May. Additionally, Razer is introducing a more affordable Blade 16 model equipped with the RTX 5060 for $2,399.99, expected to debut this month.
All configurations of the Blade 14 will come equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU and a stunning 14-inch 3K 120Hz OLED display. Gamers and content creators will appreciate the customizable per-key RGB lighting featuring Razer Chroma compatibility. The laptop can be configured with up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. While the RAM is soldered and not user-upgradable, the single NVMe SSD slot remains accessible for those looking to expand storage capacity.
The port selection on the Blade 14 largely mirrors that of its predecessor, featuring two USB4 ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, a reversible proprietary power plug, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. A new addition is the UHS-II microSD slot, providing users with more options for expanding their device's capabilities. Notably, the 2025 Blade 14 is approximately 11 percent thinner and 11 percent lighter than the previous model, measuring between 0.62 to 0.64 inches (15.7 mm to around 16.2 mm) in thickness and weighing in at just 3.59 pounds (1.63 kg).
Razer has successfully managed to make the Blade 14 thinner without compromising on performance or battery life.
