Chinese PC hardware manufacturer Maxsun is gearing up to unveil its comprehensive lineup of the highly anticipated RTX 50 series GPUs. Until now, the company's official website primarily featured the RTX 40 series graphics cards. However, recent registrations with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) suggest that Maxsun will introduce not only the recently released and upcoming RTX 5060 GPU, but also the previously unannounced GeForce RTX 5050.
The existence of the GeForce RTX 5050 has circulated in rumors for some time, yet neither NVIDIA nor its board partners had officially confirmed its development. Now, with Maxsun's registration on the EEC, it is clear that this discrete graphics card is indeed in the works. Today's registration reveals a staggering total of 16 different editions of the RTX 5050, set to be released under various families, including iCraft, and potentially new series like Transformer and Terminator.
According to the EEC listings, the RTX 5050 will feature an 8 GB VRAM capacity, although the specific type of memory has yet to be confirmed. Some reports suggest it may utilize GDDR6, while others hint at the newer GDDR7 memory. What is confirmed, however, is that the GPU will likely have a 128-bit memory bus width, aligning it with its sibling, the RTX 5060.
Alongside the RTX 5050, Maxsun is also preparing to reveal additional models in the RTX 50 series, including the RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5070, RTX 5060 Ti, and RTX 5060. The latter is expected to make its debut at the upcoming Computex event, which is just a week away. Notably, the RTX 5060 will also feature 8 GB of GDDR7 VRAM and share the same 128-bit memory bus as the RTX 5050, though significant differences in specifications such as CUDA Cores, Tensor Cores, RT Core, and TDP are anticipated.
According to reliable leaks, the RTX 5050 is expected to employ a GB207 GPU, featuring 2560 cores and a thermal design power (TDP) of 130W. As for pricing and availability, details remain unclear, and it seems unlikely that NVIDIA will officially release the RTX 5050 during the Computex event.
In addition to its RTX 50 series, Maxsun is also set to introduce the Arc B580 with an impressive 24 GB VRAM capacity. This announcement corroborates recent rumors surrounding the GPU, despite previous denials from SPARKLE. The registration of the ARC B580 iCraft 24G OC on the EEC signals that Maxsun is indeed moving forward with this high-capacity graphics card.
As the unveiling approaches, gamers and enthusiasts alike are eager to see how Maxsun's new offerings will compete in the evolving landscape of PC graphics technology.
