Earlier today, renowned leaker Evan Blass unveiled the first image of an innovative Lenovo concept laptop. This new device builds on the foundation laid by the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 released earlier this year. According to Blass, Lenovo plans to showcase this exciting concept, dubbed Project Pivo, during the upcoming IFA 2025 event next week.
Shortly after revealing the concept laptop, Blass also shared additional insights about an upcoming Edge 60-branded smartphone and hinted at Lenovo's more premium alternative to the Legion Go S, which is currently priced at $649 on Amazon. These announcements signal Lenovo's commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology across various product lines.
In a further update, Evan Blass disclosed the names of several ThinkPad laptops that Lenovo will present at IFA 2025. The exhibition will take place in Berlin from September 5 to September 9, and the following models are expected to be showcased:
ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 ThinkPad P16s Gen 4 ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 ThinkPad P16v Gen 3 ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition 14 Glacier White ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition 15 Glacier WhiteIt’s important to note that not all of these models are entirely new. For instance, Lenovo launched the Glacier White versions of the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition last month in China, although they were marketed under the name Moonlight White. Additionally, Lenovo Japan offered a sneak peek of the remaining models from the list at the end of July, as evidenced by the embedded screenshot below.
Blass's recent leak further indicates that the ThinkPad P1 Gen 8, ThinkPad P14s Gen 6, ThinkPad P16s Gen 4, ThinkPad P16 Gen 3, and ThinkPad P16v Gen 3 will all receive global releases powered by Intel processors. This marks a significant step for Lenovo in providing enhanced performance and capabilities to its professional users.
