The new product lineup includes 11 items from the KAJPLATS smart bulb range. These bulbs will feature a variety of shapes and sizes, complemented by dimming functionality to suit different preferences and settings. Additionally, IKEA is introducing five innovative smart sensors that enhance home automation. For instance, the MYGGSPRAY is an indoor and outdoor motion sensor that automatically activates lights when movement is detected.
Another notable addition is the MYGGBETT sensor, which alerts users when a door or window is opened or closed, enhancing home security. On the technical safety front, products like the TIMMERFLOTTE monitor temperature and humidity levels, while the ALPSTUGA serves as an air quality sensor. Lastly, the KLIPPBOK acts as a water leakage sensor, providing peace of mind for homeowners concerned about water damage.
In addition to the smart sensors and bulbs, IKEA is also launching a range of remote controls and a versatile smart plug, known as GRILLPLATS. This smart plug is compatible with regular lamps and appliances, enabling users to turn devices on and off remotely while also tracking energy consumption. IKEA's product lineup also includes four BILRESA products designed for advanced control capabilities. These include a dual-button remote control that allows users to turn lights on and off, adjust brightness, and create preset scenes for various occasions. Each type of remote control is available in kits of three, providing flexibility and convenience for managing your smart home.
