Humain has officially unveiled the Horizon Pro PC, a revolutionary new laptop that integrates agentic AI alongside a powerful Snapdragon chip. This cutting-edge device, which Humain claims “can operate 100 times faster than human thought,” was showcased during the Snapdragon Technology Summit held in Maui, hosted by Qualcomm.
The Horizon Pro is powered by a first-generation Snapdragon X Elite processor from Qualcomm and operates on Windows 11. It features the innovative Humain One OS, which is designed to enhance user experience through intelligent computing. Humain's CEO, Tareq Amin, announced that the official launch of the Humain One OS will take place on October 27 during Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh.
While Humain has yet to disclose the pricing details for the Horizon Pro, Amin emphasized that he prioritizes the long-term value of the device over its initial cost. “When we share the price structure for this, nothing in the market will be at the same price,” he stated. This suggests that the laptop is designed to offer significant value to both consumers and enterprises alike.
One of the standout features of the Horizon Pro PC is its impressive battery life, boasting up to 18 hours thanks to the efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon X1 Elite chip. Other notable specifications include:
32GB of RAM 1TB of SSD storage 14-inch 2880×1800 OLED display 1080p webcam Wi-Fi 7 connectivityAnother unique aspect of the laptop is the inclusion of a dedicated key, which replaces the traditional Copilot key found on many Windows laptops. While it's still unclear whether this feature will be named the “Humain key,” it certainly adds a distinctive touch to the Horizon Pro.
Based in Saudi Arabia and launched by the Public Investment Fund, Humain aims to lead the region in AI development. Amin revealed that the Humain One OS was developed in just seven months, although he noted that the term "OS" might be a bit misleading since the laptops still run on Windows. The focus, according to Amin, is on creating an application that enhances the existing operating systems.
Humain plans to introduce several AI-powered applications, including Humain Search, an AI-based search engine, and Humain Create, which facilitates the generation of art and videos. Additionally, the company has already launched Humain Chat, a chatbot powered by their proprietary Allam model, which features 34 billion parameters and was built from the ground up.
The Horizon Pro PC is aimed at both consumers and businesses, with Humain offering a leasing subscription that includes access to its suite of AI solutions. Consumers can expect the laptop to come pre-installed with Humain’s AI applications, which will require activation. In a commitment to education, Humain also plans to distribute 500 laptops to students.
Qualcomm’s CEO, Cristiano Amon, praised the Humain Horizon Pro, stating, “It represents the future of intelligent personal computing.” He highlighted its groundbreaking performance and the innovative AI-first experiences it aims to provide for both enterprises and consumers.
Looking ahead, Humain has hinted at the development of a Horizon Ultra model, although further details regarding its specifications and release timeline have yet to be revealed. As the world awaits the official launch of the Humain One OS on October 27, the Horizon Pro stands poised to make a significant impact in the realm of personal computing powered by agentic AI.
