We had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at these devices ahead of the announcement, and we're excited to share all the details with you.
While the hardware announcements weren't entirely surprising, as many leaks hinted at these products, the event did bring a few noteworthy surprises. Among these are innovative smartphone features such as Magic Cue and Pixelsnap. Google’s presentation was engaging, but here’s a detailed breakdown of all the products and software updates revealed at Made by Google 2025.
The Google Pixel 10 series took center stage, featuring four models: the base Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Unlike previous generations, this lineup primarily enhances the features introduced with the Pixel 9.
Pixel 10The base model, Pixel 10, boasts a 6.3-inch Actua display, 12GB of RAM, and a new 5x telephoto camera alongside 50MP wide and 48MP ultrawide lenses. This combination offers 10x optical image quality and Super Res Zoom capabilities up to 20x, enabling high-quality close-up shots. Starting at $799, this model will be available in various colors: Obsidian (black), Indigo (blue), Frost (white), and Lemongrass (green).
Pixel 10 ProNext up is the Pixel 10 Pro, which features a similar 6.3-inch Super Actua display with a peak brightness of 3,300 nits. This model includes 16GB of RAM and a remarkable 30-hour battery life. The enhanced 5x telephoto lens allows for 100x Pro Res Zoom, making it perfect for stunning close-ups. Prices start at $999, and it will be available in colors such as Obsidian, Moonstone (gray), Porcelain (white), and Jade (green).
Pixel 10 Pro XLThe Pixel 10 Pro XL shares many features with the Pixel 10 Pro but includes a larger 6.8-inch Super Actua display. Starting at $1,199, it will be available in the same color options as the Pro version.
Pixel 10 Pro FoldFinally, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold stands out with its 6.4-inch Actua outer display and an 8-inch Super Actua inner display. The innovative design features a gearless, high-strength hinge, promising durability for over 10 years of use. Notably, it is the first foldable phone with an IP68 rating, ensuring protection against dust and brief submersion in water. Priced at $1,799, it will be available in Moonstone and Jade.
All four models are powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 chipset, which the company claims is 60% more powerful than the previous Tensor G4. Each smartphone offers a robust 30-hour battery life, integration with Gemini AI, and seven years of software and security updates. Preorders for the Pixel 10 series began on August 20, with sales commencing on August 28. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be available starting October 9.
Google is leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the user experience on its smartphones. This year’s innovations include exciting new features that improve usability and interaction with Pixel devices.
Magic CueMagic Cue is a proactive AI assistant that anticipates user needs. For instance, while on a call with an airline, Magic Cue can automatically display flight details, streamlining the experience.
Camera UpdatesAll Pixel 10 models will introduce new camera features. Camera Coach offers tips for optimal shot setups, while Auto Best Take combines similar images into a single perfect photo. The improved Add Me feature allows users to include the photographer in larger group photos.
Pixelsnap TechnologyPixelsnap is a magnetic technology that enables users to attach Qi2-compatible wireless chargers and accessories to the back of their devices. Google will also launch supporting accessories, including the Pixelsnap Charger ($40), Pixelsnap Charger with Stand ($70), and the Pixelsnap Ring Stand ($30) for hands-free viewing.
The Pixel Buds 2a have been unveiled as a budget-friendly option, featuring Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 1.5 technology. Users can switch to Transparency Mode to hear external sounds. The earbuds come equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers, spatial audio support, and a 5-band equalizer. Powered by the Tensor A1 chipset, they offer a 20-hour battery life with the charging case. The Pixel Buds 2a will be available on October 9 for $130, in Hazel (black) and Iris (light blue) colors.
Wrapping up the event is the Pixel Watch 4, showcasing significant design updates and advanced safety features. It features an Actua 360 domed display made from durable Corning Gorilla Glass, now 10% larger and 50% brighter with 3,000 nits. The battery life has improved to 40 hours on the 45mm model and 30 hours on the 41mm version, with faster charging speeds and a redesigned charging system.
One of the most notable updates is that the Pixel Watch 4 can be repaired, allowing users to replace the display and battery. Safety features include Loss of Pulse, which alerts emergency services if the wearer’s heart stops, and Fall and Crash Detection to contact help after a serious incident. Additionally, the LTE version has an SOS satellite communication function for emergency services without cellular or Wi-Fi.
