A visit to the official Apple Status page revealed that multiple services were affected, including iCloud Web Apps, Find My, and Photos. Reports peaked with approximately 900 users reporting issues at around 12:30 p.m. Pacific, although this number gradually declined throughout the day. The official status page indicated that the outage lingered until approximately 4:15 p.m. Pacific, resulting in an outage duration of just over five hours.
Tom's Guide reached out to Apple for more information regarding the cause of the outage and potential workarounds for users affected by the service interruptions. We are awaiting a response from the company and will provide updates as they become available.
While Down Detector is not the definitive source for outage information, it serves as a useful tool for users experiencing issues. At the height of the outage, reports surged to around 900, indicating a notable disruption. As the situation progressed, the number of reports began to decline, settling around 775 by the time of our last update.

As we continue to monitor Down Detector, reports have gradually decreased to around 550. However, the Apple Status page still indicates an ongoing outage. Despite some users claiming to regain access to iCloud, the official status has not been updated to reflect this improvement.
While the status of iCloud services remains uncertain, reports indicate that FaceTime and iMessage could also be experiencing problems linked to the iCloud outage. Although the Apple Status page does not currently list these apps as having issues, anecdotal evidence suggests that some users may be facing difficulties.
