The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT has been benchmarked once again in the FurMark stress test, confirming previous performance expectations. A user known as 'gaav87' from the AnandTech Forums shared the results, which prominently display the GPU's identity. The OpenGL test was performed at a resolution of 1080p with MSAA turned off, and the GPU endured a 10-minute stress test.
While FurMark is not the definitive tool for comparing GPU performance, it offers more accuracy than some alternatives like Geekbench. The tested sample was a GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16G, a factory-overclocked edition, which achieved a score of 20,732 points (345 FPS). Moreover, the test utilized drivers from the Linux Mesa 25.0 stack, a recent release that officially supports RDNA 4, suggesting the reliability of these results.
