In response to the explosion, multiple agencies, including the L.A. City Fire Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the LAPD bomb squad, have been deployed to the scene. Mayor Karen Bass released a statement, saying, "The thoughts of all Angelenos are with all of those impacted by this blast."
