The Pokémon Trading Card Game Live offers an exciting opportunity for players to enhance their gaming experience through the in-game Battle Pass. By engaging in quests, players can earn valuable experience points and unlock new tiers by participating in either Ranked or Casual matches. Each Battle Pass is available until the release of the next expansion, making it essential for players to progress swiftly.
Start your journey with the Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Battle Pass, which features a brand new deck centered around Mega Lucario ex. As you advance through the Battle Pass, you can unlock numerous rewards including booster packs, Collector Crates, Trainer Points, Trade Credits, and 16 additional cards to customize your deck. About halfway through, you will unlock a new deck focused on Mega Gardevoir ex, offering even more strategic options to enhance your gameplay.
Mega Lucario ex boasts two formidable attacks requiring minimal Energy to execute. Its first attack, Aura Jab, not only inflicts 130 damage but also allows you to attach discarded Basic Energy cards to your Benched Pokémon. This mechanic ensures your team is well-prepared to implement your battle strategies effectively. Additionally, the ability of Hariyama can disrupt your opponent’s strategy, while Solrock and Lunatone provide valuable options for card drawing and attacking.
Begin your strategy by utilizing Aura Jab to inflict damage while accelerating Energy from your discard pile to your Benched Pokémon. Once your Bench is prepared, you can attach one more Energy to unleash Mega Brave, dealing a massive 270 damage. Although Mega Brave cannot be used consecutively, you can switch back to Aura Jab or retreat Mega Lucario ex and use a Switch card to reposition it.
To amplify damage output, consider incorporating Trainer cards such as Premium Power Pro, which increases your Active Pokémon’s attack by 30. This effect is stackable, allowing multiple copies to be played in a single turn. Another impactful card is Maximum Belt, which adds 50 damage to attacks against opposing Active Pokémon ex. Lastly, the Gravity Mountain Stadium card reduces the HP of all Stage 2 Pokémon by 30, making them easier to Knock Out.
As you progress in the Battle Pass, you’ll eventually unlock a deck featuring Mega Gardevoir ex. This powerful Pokémon showcases the Overflowing Wishes attack, which allows you to attach Basic Energy cards from your deck to each of your Benched Pokémon. Following this, you can unleash the Mega Symphonia attack, dealing extraordinary damage based on the total Energy you have in play, including Luminous Energy.
Focus on getting at least two Ralts into play using cards like Buddy-Buddy Poffin or Nest Ball. With the Mystery Garden Stadium card in play, you can draw up to six cards if your Bench is full, setting you up for success. You can choose to evolve either into Mega Gardevoir ex or Gardevoir ex first, depending on your preferred strategy.
Mega Gardevoir ex can distribute Energy to your Benched Pokémon and then utilize that Energy for its own powerful attacks. Meanwhile, Gardevoir ex’s Psychic Embrace Ability allows you to easily attach Basic Energy from your discard pile to any Pokémon, boosting their potential for powerful attacks like Miracle Force.
Both forms of Gardevoir synergize exceptionally well, allowing for a seamless transition of Energy between attacks. Additionally, cards like Hero’s Cape can increase the HP of your Pokémon significantly, making Mega Gardevoir ex a formidable opponent with up to 460 HP. You can also utilize Munkidori’s Adrena-Brain to shift damage counters between Pokémon, maximizing the effectiveness of Psychic Embrace.
As you complete the Battle Pass, you will be rewarded with numerous booster packs, Trainer Points, Trade Credits, and cosmetics. Embrace your new decks, cards, and the exciting challenges that await you in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live!
