The cheerful character Kirby is set to receive a new mode called Star-Crossed World, while Mario Party will introduce the Jamboree TV feature, complete with additional mini-games. These updates promise not only enhanced graphics but also expansion-like content that enriches the gameplay experience.
For players who have already purchased the original versions of these games at full price, acquiring the expansions will result in a total cost of $80. This is calculated by adding the $60 price of the original Switch game to the $20 cost of the Switch 2 Expansion. Interestingly, this means that purchasing the game for the first time on the Switch 2 will yield the same total price.
In a similar vein, the original Tears of the Kingdom for the standard Switch is priced at $69.99. When adding the $9.99 expansion pack, the total comes to $79.99, equivalent to the price of a brand-new copy for the Switch 2. Both Zelda upgrade packs focus primarily on visual and performance enhancements, with new features such as Zelda Notes smartphone connectivity designed to assist players in locating more Korok seeds.
