You can download the Beta client directly from the Microsoft Store. Additionally, if your pre-order was made digitally, you are automatically registered for the Early Access period.
During the Early Access phase, players can dive into three maps and four game modes, including The Forge, Cortex, Exposure, and Imprint. The game modes available for play will be Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Kill Confirmed. Excitingly, the new game mode Overload will be introduced on October 3, followed by the classic mode Search & Destroy on October 4. In Overload, teams compete for control of the Overload Device, which players must carry into one of the enemy's two control zones, with its location displayed on the HUD and Tac-Map for strategic advantage.
Once the Open Beta launches on October 5, players across all platforms will be able to access the Black Ops 7 Beta. Alongside the previously available content during the Early Access, the Open Beta will introduce two additional maps: Blackheart and Toshin.
For the first time, Zombies mode will be included in a Call of Duty Beta! Starting October 3, players can experience Zombies Survival set on the map Vandorn Fam. This mode offers an unfiltered Zombies experience where players must survive against waves of relentless undead without any quests or objectives. It’s a pure survival mode, giving you a taste of the chaos that awaits in the forthcoming Ashes of the Damned expansion. Players will also have access to complimentary GobbleGums during the Beta, so be sure to check out the detailed GobbleGums guide for more information.
