The highly anticipated 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is set to showcase an impressive lineup, with Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and Karol G taking the helm as headliners. This marks the first time all three artists will headline the renowned festival in the California desert, further solidifying Coachella's reputation as North America’s largest music festival.
In addition to the headliners, the festival will feature a variety of artists across multiple genres. On Friday, attendees can look forward to performances from the xx, Disclosure, Teddy Swims, Sexyy Red, Katseye, Central Cee, Ethel Cain, Dijon, and Nine Inch Noize. Saturday will bring performances by the Strokes, Giveon, Addison Rae, Labrinth, and David Byrne. Finally, Sunday will close out the festival with acts from Young Thug, Bigbang, Major Lazer, Iggy Pop, FKA twigs, and Subtronics.
Adding to the excitement, Italian DJ Anyma is set to take the unofficial fourth headliner spot on Saturday night, following Justin Bieber’s performance. He will reportedly debut a new show titled Æden, an event that promises to captivate the audience and enhance the festival's dynamic atmosphere.
The announcement of the lineup comes earlier than usual, with last year’s artists revealed in late November and the previous year's in January. This year’s lineup reveal comes just two weeks after Bieber made waves with the surprise release of his new album, Swag II. This 44-song follow-up to his previous July release, Swag, marks his first album in four years and has generated significant buzz in the music community.
Justin Bieber’s performance at Coachella will be his first billed set at the festival and a significant return to the stage. While he has made brief appearances, including a collaboration with SZA to perform a remix of “Snooze” earlier this year, he has not held a full concert since 2022. After canceling his Justice tour due to health concerns, Bieber expressed his need to prioritize his well-being. “After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me, and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now,” he stated. Thankfully, he’s now ready to take the stage again.
Sabrina Carpenter will also return to the desert after making her Coachella debut last year, riding the wave of success from her album Short n’ Sweet. Her latest album, Man’s Best Friend, has received acclaim, with the Guardian’s Shaad D’Souza describing it as “one of the year’s singular, musically provocative pop records.”
Karol G, the popular Colombian artist, will make her Coachella debut as a headliner after previously performing in 2022. Her fifth album, Tropicoqueta, was released in June, and her upcoming performance will mark her first full show behind this album. Moreover, she will make history as the first Latina to headline the festival, following Bad Bunny, who became the first Latin artist to achieve this milestone in 2023.
The festival is known for its vibrant atmosphere and challenging weather, with last year's event being the hottest Coachella on record, where temperatures soared past 102°F (39°C) on the first weekend. Last year's headliners included notable names like Lady Gaga, Green Day, Travis Scott, and Post Malone. As excitement builds for the 2026 festival, attendees can look forward to a memorable weekend filled with incredible performances and unforgettable moments.
