Today, Meta officially confirmed a feature that many WhatsApp users have been eagerly anticipating: the app now supports Live Photos. Easier Group Search: With creative group chat names, it can be tough to remember them all. Now, users can simply search for a contact in their Chats tab to find related groups. Document Scanning on Android: Android users can now scan, crop, and send documents directly through WhatsApp, a feature that was previously exclusive to iPhone users. New Video Call Backgrounds with Meta AI: Users can create unique backgrounds for their video calls using Meta AI, allowing them to customize their surroundings or choose something entirely new.Although Meta has confirmed the rollout of Live Photos support, it appears that this feature is still in the process of being made available to all users. Some iOS users have reported being able to receive Live Photos but are unable to send them. This indicates that the rollout may not yet be complete for everyone.
