This time, the information hints at some unexpected features that deviate from previous rumors. The details come from renowned tech insider Roland Quandt of WinFuture, who has shared comprehensive specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE on his Bluesky account.
The first post by Quandt appears to originate from marketing materials, primarily focusing on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Notably, the device features a sleek 8.9mm chassis that folds down to an impressive 4.2mm. This design innovation is coupled with a lightweight build, weighing in at just 216 grams, making it lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This weight reduction enhances the portability of Samsung’s latest big-screen foldable.
Additional leaked specifications reveal a dual-display setup, including a 6.5-inch exterior display and a stunning 8-inch main panel. Powering the device is the formidable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. While the leaked information provides minimal details about the camera, it does mention a robust 200MP main sensor, ensuring high-quality photography. However, the 4,000mAh battery continues Samsung’s trend of opting for smaller capacities in its foldable devices.
Interestingly, while the specs sheet does not mention a 1TB model, Quandt later clarified that this is due to regional variations, rather than an oversight.
Turning our attention to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE, the leaked specifications may initially seem standard. However, the absence of processor details raises questions about the devices’ performance capabilities. Most notably, both models are reported to have identical screen sizes: a 6.9-inch main display and a 4.1-inch exterior panel. This revelation challenges previous leaks that suggested a different design for Samsung's budget foldable lineup.
Given earlier leaks showcasing the traditional folder-style display from the Flip 5 and Flip 6, it’s reasonable to suspect that the latest specs table may contain more accurate data. Should Samsung opt for full-screen displays on both clamshell models, it could significantly impact competition with Motorola’s more affordable Razr series.
