OnePlus representatives have confirmed to The Verge that this much-anticipated model will not be available for purchase in either Europe or North America. While the OnePlus 13T is not making its way to Europe or North America, it will be available in India under the name OnePlus 13S. This sparked some hope among potential US customers for a possible release; however, OnePlus quickly confirmed that there are currently no plans to introduce the OnePlus 13S in Europe. Celina Shi, the chief marketing officer for OnePlus Europe, communicated this via email, stating, “we have noted the interest in the product from our European users and will keep it in mind as we make product launch decisions going forward.”
Similarly, Spenser Blank, head of marketing for OnePlus North America, echoed this sentiment, confirming that the device will not be available in the United States or Canada either.
Before you start voicing your frustrations about a phone boasting a 6.3-inch screen not being considered “small,” it’s essential to recognize the context. In today’s smartphone market, the OnePlus 13T's dimensions are indeed classified as compact compared to its larger counterparts. Both the OnePlus 13 and 13R feature screens measuring around 6.8 inches, making the 13T a more manageable option for those who prefer smaller devices.
