While the three models share a similar aesthetic, their specifications vary considerably. The base model Razr is powered by a MediaTek chip, whereas the Razr+ and Razr Ultra utilize the more powerful Snapdragon processors. Notably, the Razr Ultra boasts the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the same processor found in Samsung's flagship phones. This makes it the fastest chip available in a foldable device, according to Motorola.
Motorola's collaboration with Pantone, which was highlighted in the recent 2025 Moto G Stylus launch, shines through in the color options available for these new Razrs. The base model will also be available on most US carriers starting May 15. Canadian customers can expect the Razr to be released on May 7, with carrier availability following in June.
The Razr+ will hit the market on May 15 through AT&T and T-Mobile, although there are currently no plans for a Canadian release. The flagship Razr Ultra will debut unlocked on the same day and will also be available in Canada starting in June.
