The claim by Digital Chat Station aligns with insights shared by renowned industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a well-established reputation for accurate predictions regarding Apple products. Kuo indicated that the anticipated models, including the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, will all come standard with 12GB of RAM. Notably, Kuo mentioned that even the base-model iPhone 17 might also feature 12GB of RAM, contingent upon overcoming existing supply chain challenges.
Kuo further elaborated that Apple is expected to make a final determination on the RAM specifications for the regular iPhone 17 model by May. While there is a possibility that the base model may retain the current 8GB of RAM, Kuo anticipates that all models in the forthcoming iPhone 18 lineup will be upgraded to 12GB of RAM.
