To utilize this feature, users can navigate to Google Messages, select the contact's name, and access their details page. Here, an option will be available to either display your own QR code or scan the code of the other person.
This new system employs verify keys to guarantee that only you and your contact can read the RCS messages exchanged between you. Google emphasizes that the security of your conversations is paramount, and this feature is a step forward in enhancing that security. For those who may encounter issues with the QR code, the traditional 80-digit comparison method remains as an available option.
