I've had the opportunity to test the EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus, which is the smallest model in EcoFlow's Delta 3 line. Despite its compact dimensions of just 16 x 8 x 11 inches, this power station packs a punch for those seeking a powerful yet portable unit. Weighing in at 27.6 pounds, it’s still manageable for transportation, whether in the trunk of your car or a backpack for camping trips. The ammo crate style handles make lifting and moving the Delta 3 Plus a breeze, providing comfort and balance even when transporting it over longer distances.
Outdoor use is where the Delta 3 Plus shines, thanks to its robust 1,024Wh battery pack that boasts an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. This feature significantly enhances the lifespan of the power station while minimizing risks such as fires and short circuits. However, it's crucial to note that while the battery pack is designed to withstand the elements, the entire unit isn't waterproof. Therefore, it’s advisable to use a waterproof cover or box when using it outdoors. Anything that extends the unit's longevity during outdoor adventures is a significant advantage.
The EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus can deliver a remarkable 1,800W through its AC outlets and handle short surges up to 3,600W. Moreover, it provides 140W through the USB-C ports and 36W from the USB-A ports.
