Osment expressed his horror at the language he used during his arrest, stating, “I’m absolutely horrified by my behavior. Had I known I used this disgraceful language in the throes of a blackout, I would have spoken up sooner.” In his statement to the New York Post, the actor acknowledged the emotional toll he has faced over the past few months, particularly following the devastating Eaton wildfire that resulted in the loss of his home.
During the arrest, which occurred at the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Osment was recorded saying, “I’ve been kidnapped by a fucking Nazi,” and he accused the police officers of “torturing me.” Disturbingly, he also directed a highly offensive slur at one of the officers, further illustrating his distress during the encounter.
In his heartfelt statement, Osment reached out to those he may have hurt, saying, “From the bottom of my heart, I apologize to absolutely everyone that this hurts.
