Christian McCaffrey continues to dominate the field with an impressive 20.6 fantasy points in Underdog's Pick'em. The San Francisco 49ers are projected to score the 8th-most points (25.0) against Jacksonville, and McCaffrey is currently the RB3 based on his usage. Averaging 6.8 more expected half PPR points than the RB2, he is on pace for a record-breaking 141 receptions this season. This explains his high total yardage projection of 1999.5 yards, making him a must-start.
Jonathan Taylor follows closely with 16.6 fantasy points. Despite a challenging matchup against the Rams, Taylor's RB1 usage and high snap counts make him a strong contender to overcome the odds.
Bijan Robinson scored 17.7 fantasy points, but faces a tough challenge against the Commanders, who rank 3rd-best against fantasy RBs. With Atlanta's offensive struggles, Robinson remains a critical player to watch.
James Cook is projected to excel this week with 14.7 fantasy points as the Bills are favored to score the most points (32.5) against a weak Saints defense. Cook's increased usage makes him a valuable asset this week.
Saquon Barkley has been underwhelming with 15.3 fantasy points, but given the Buccaneers' recent defensive issues, a breakout performance could be on the horizon.
Jahmyr Gibbs has been impressive with 15.4 fantasy points, benefiting from the Lions’ high RB usage, though he faces a stiff challenge against the Browns' formidable defense.
De'Von Achane is also making waves, pacing for an impressive 102 receptions despite a struggling offensive line. He is currently the RB7 on usage, making him a sneaky start this week.
Puka Nacua is a standout with a projected 93.5 receiving yards. The Rams are set to face the Colts, who have struggled with injuries in their secondary. Nacua's current form places him in a prime position to deliver strong fantasy points.
Amon-Ra St. Brown also looks promising with 67.5 receiving yards projected, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba is proving to be a valuable asset with 84.5 receiving yards in Underdog's Pick'em, as he continues to build chemistry with his quarterback.
Nico Collins has a favorable matchup with a projected 72.5 receiving yards, while Justin Jefferson remains a critical player to watch with a lower-than-expected usage rate thus far.
The matchups this week are crucial for fantasy players. Calvin Ridley faces a tough opponent but has shown potential with consistent usage. Meanwhile, Tyreek Hill is projected for 62.5 receiving yards against a struggling Jets secondary, making him a strong start.
Also, keep an eye on J.K. Dobbins as he is on the rise with 76.5 total yards projected this week. The matchup against the Bengals could provide him with ample opportunities to score.
This week, Josh Allen leads the pack with a projected 23.6 fantasy points as the Bills face the Saints, who are dealing with key injuries. Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts are also strong starts this week, projected for 22.2 and 21.0 points respectively.
