In the world of motorsports, especially in Formula 1, evaluating driver performance is essential for fans and analysts alike. Our dedicated five-judge panel meticulously assesses each driver after every Grand Prix, offering a comprehensive evaluation based on their performance throughout the weekend.
Each driver is given a score out of 10, reflecting their individual achievements during the race weekend. This unique scoring system focuses solely on the drivers, intentionally excluding machinery factors. This means that the performance of the car does not influence the drivers’ scores, allowing for a more equitable assessment of their skills.
After the judges provide their scores, we average these evaluations to produce a definitive race score for each driver. This averaging process ensures that the final score is a fair representation of each driver’s performance, considering the opinions of our expert panel.
The individual race scores are then aggregated throughout the season, culminating in our overall Power Rankings Leaderboard. This leaderboard offers fans a dynamic view of driver performance over the course of the season, showcasing who consistently excels on the track.
Our driver assessment system not only highlights individual performances but also provides a clear comparison across the entire season. By focusing solely on the drivers and their skills, we aim to deliver an insightful look into the world of Formula 1 racing, helping fans to better understand the nuances of driver performance.
