This season, some divisional matchups in the NFL will hold even greater significance as Nike and the league unveiled eight new uniforms as part of the inaugural NFL Rivalries initiative. Teams from the AFC East and NFC West will showcase these special uniforms during select home games against their division rivals. The designs of these uniforms are deeply rooted in each team's legacy and local inspirations, aimed at celebrating the storied rivalries that define the league.
Taryn Hutt, NFL Vice President of Club Marketing, expressed excitement about this initiative, stating, “The unveiling of the first eight Rivalries club uniforms and fan gear marks a significant moment for the NFL, Nike, and Fanatics, as creativity and innovation merge together to deliver a new take on what it means to be a rival.” Each uniform features unique elements that reflect the team's city and heritage. Following this season, these uniforms will be integrated into the team's rotation for three years, alongside existing alternate looks. Additional rivalry uniforms are slated to debut in the upcoming seasons: 2026 for the AFC South and NFC North, 2027 for the NFC East and AFC West, and 2028 for the AFC North and AFC South.
