However, two powerful secret classes remain locked: the Duchess and the Revenant. Below is a detailed guide on how to unlock these two secret Nightfarer classes.
The first secret Nightfarer available for unlocking is the Duchess. After completing your first Tricephalos expedition, you will receive a special green relic called the Old Pocketwatch. Notably, you do not need to defeat Gladius to obtain this relic, but completing the full run is essential for claiming your rewards. This relic offers useful buffs to any Nightfarer utilizing a dexterity-based build and serves as the key item to unlock the Duchess.
Once you have the Old Pocketwatch, head to the Priestess at the Roundtable Hold. During your conversation, she will inquire about the relic. Handing over the Old Pocketwatch poses no risk; you will retain the relic and can equip it on any of your Nightfarers. After you give the relic to the Priestess, a cutscene plays, revealing her true identity as the Duchess. This moment marks the unlocking of Nightreign's seventh playable Nightfarer.
The Duchess is a dexterous attacker adept at navigating the battlefield with agility. Although she has lower poise, defense, and health, her ability to distract enemies and evade attacks makes her a valuable asset.
