Gather round the Tavern and raise a toast! The time to collect powerful Hearthstone cards is nigh. Worlds collide, and for a limited time, you will be able to wield incredible Hearthstone powers within Sanctuary. This newest content update, titled Heroes of the Hearth, brings an exciting influx of themed events straight from the Hearthstone universe. As with previous content updates, there will be server maintenance starting on July 29, from 5–7 p.m. PDT for Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers, and on July 30, from 1–3 a.m. PDT for servers in the Americas. After the maintenance has concluded, all items mentioned below will be live—specific dates for any features going live afterward are provided below.
Come ‘round the Tavern and pull up a chair by the fire for Heroes of the Hearth. From July 30 to August 27, immerse yourself in the world of Hearthstone as you collect and earn powerful cards that will augment and enhance your gameplay. These cards, inspired by iconic Hearthstone characters, will provide legendary effects, creating chaos and excitement during this limited-time event. Experience revamped game modes in ways you've never seen before; Trial of the Hordes and Fractured Plane will be altered with dramatic card-based mechanics that will change your gameplay experience.
All cards available during the Heroes of the Hearth event can be earned through the event hub and will be categorized as either Common or Rare rarities. If you choose to purchase one of the Hearthstone-themed bundles from the in-game shop, you'll also receive a random free card as a bonus. Each card you collect grants special affixes that can be utilized across various game modes, significantly augmenting your power. Collect and wield these 18 classic Hearthstone cards in the Enchanted Planes and Trial of the Hearth game modes:
Mage: Polymorph (Common): Transform nearby enemies into Yaks, causing them to take increased damage. Ice Block (Epic): Become immune to damage and heal yourself while releasing a blast of ice to freeze nearby enemies. Warrior: Bash (Common): Create a damaging area and gain a temporary shield when you deal damage. Blade Storm (Epic): Surround yourself with a storm of blades that damages nearby enemies and blocks projectiles. Hunter: Explosive Trap (Common): Trigger an explosion when you take damage, harming surrounding enemies. Snake Trap (Rare): Summon Hellfire Deceivers that spit poison at nearby enemies when you take damage.During the Heroes of the Hearth event, simply logging in will reward you with illustrious items, including one 2-Star Manaflux Legendary Gem, 10 Legendary Crests, the Azure Serpent Portal cosmetic, and the Amethyst Longhorn Avatar Frame. Additionally, you can redeem the Promo Code CARDCOLLECT for further rewards, including multiple gems and a random card.
While Heroes of the Hearth is live, you can acquire specific Hearthstone-inspired bundles in the in-game shop. Purchasing any of these bundles will grant you the Manaflux Legendary Gem and a bonus card pack for use during the event.
To strike fear into your enemies, don the tempered steel of the Gilded Antiquity by visiting the in-game shop. This cosmetic will add a fierce look to your character as you embark on your adventure.
From July 30 to August 6, take advantage of the Winds of Fortune event, during which you will earn increased rewards. Activating a 24-hour buff will allow you to double your rewards, and any unclaimed rewards will be auto-claimed upon your next log-in. This event will also double the drop rates for various valuable items, enhancing your gameplay experience.
From July 30 to August 27, engage in the Gambler’s Toil event, where you can battle various challenges to earn rewards. Complete weekly events such as Survivor’s Bane, Conqueror, Alley of Blood, and Wild Brawl to bolster your legend within Sanctuary.
The Trial of the Hearth challenges you to rely on your powerful cards to succeed. Before each match, select two cards—one for an active buff and another as a combat orb. Use these strategically to gain the upper hand against your enemies.
In the Enchanted Planes, select three cards to assist you in defeating the legions of the Burning Hells. One card activates at the start, while the others drop from Chaotic Altars and Treasure Chests as you play.
The Manaflux Legendary Gem is a powerful artifact that generates mana and allows you to unleash devastating attacks based on your current health status. This gem will be available during the event, providing players with exciting gameplay opportunities.
Join the fight with two new Familiar skins: Core Rager and Lil’ Ragnaros. These collectibles can be obtained through the in-game shop and special draws during the event.
Unlock legendary characters from Hearthstone, Malfurion Stormrage and Tyrande Whisperwind, in the Moon Scion Phantom Market. This unique market offers cosmetic options for male and female characters, providing further customization during the event.
