Rachel Zegler recently stirred up some chatter on social media as she posed a playful question for fans of Timothée Chalamet after he and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, made their much-anticipated red carpet debut. The 24-year-old star took to the comments section of a post from Cosmopolitan, referencing the Instagram fan account Club Chalamet, which celebrates the life and career of the Willy Wonka star. Zegler’s comment came in response to a photo that featured Chalamet, 29, and Jenner, 27, at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome.
In her comment, Zegler quipped, “Is club chalamet gonna be ok?” The magazine playfully replied, “We’re keeping her in our thoughts right now queen.” The original post from Cosmopolitan declared, “It’s officially red carpet official! Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner made their carpet debut today at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Italy! Someone check on Club Chalamet right now…👀”
During the prestigious event in Rome, Chalamet was honored with an award for Cinematic Excellence. Following the ceremony, the fan account Club Chalamet took to Instagram to convey their congratulations. The account holder, identified as Simone, shared a picture of Chalamet holding his trophy, expressing pride in his achievement: “Timothée, congratulations on your David Di Donatello honor yesterday in Italy. So many more of such honors will come your way over the years.”
However, Simone also addressed the negativity experienced by the fan community over recent years, stating, “The purpose of Club Chalamet is to be an entertaining and reliable content creator of commentary about the life and career of Timothée Chalamet. I’m proud of the work I have done for CC since 2018, and Timothée has consistently demonstrated that he’s a talent worth supporting.”
Simone went on to discuss the challenges faced by the community, highlighting the impact of “abusive gaslighting” from outsiders who have reveled in gossip surrounding the actor. She emphasized the importance of supporting each other amidst the toxicity: “When you have a vested interest in the welfare of your fan community, you see the accumulating damage firsthand and how it’s been allowed to fester.”
She reassured fans, stating, “I’m not going anywhere. YOU, too, have the power to ignore the gossip and focus on real-world problems you can’t ignore; let’s keep things in perspective. Go out for a walk, drink a cup of coffee, and stay positive. Timmy is a phenomenal actor and human being, and Club Chalamet will be here to support him.”
Meanwhile, Chalamet and Jenner have been spotted enjoying each other’s company at various events over the past few months. In April, they were seen sharing affectionate moments courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game. Earlier in March, they attended the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament, where they showcased their affection throughout the match.
Although their red carpet appearance in Italy marked a significant milestone in their relationship, Jenner has long supported Chalamet's career. During the 2025 awards season, she attended high-profile events such as the Golden Globes, Oscars, and BAFTAs alongside him, where Chalamet was nominated for best actor for his role in the biographical drama A Complete Unknown, earning him a coveted SAG award.
Despite their public displays of affection, both Chalamet and Jenner have chosen to keep their relationship relatively private. Chalamet has spoken candidly about navigating fame and maintaining his personal life, stating, “I can’t say that this stuff doesn’t matter, because my intense fandom has led me to where I am.”
When discussing Jenner’s level of fame, he noted, “This reminds me of that recent ‘South Park’ episode with the Worldwide Privacy Tour,” referring to the show's parody of public figures seeking privacy while being constantly in the spotlight. He added, “Sometimes, people are going to be hella confused when you say you’re trying to live a private life.”
