Rondell Sheridan seeks assistance for his medical bills after being hospitalized with pancreatitis. Help support the beloved 'That's So Raven' star's recovery.

Rondell Sheridan, known for his role as Victor Baxter on the beloved Disney Channel show That's So Raven, has recently faced serious health challenges that have led to hospitalizations. In April, while on the road, Sheridan fell ill and was admitted to the hospital. According to a close friend, he is suffering from an extremely severe case of pancreatitis, prompting him to reach out to his fans for support.

On Tuesday, Sheridan took to social media to provide an update on his health and share his struggles with medical expenses. He has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover his rising medical bills. As of now, the campaign has raised approximately $25,000 of its $35,000 goal, reflecting the outpouring of support from his fans and the community.

Rondell Sheridan, who has also appeared in shows like Cory in the House and Raven's Home, has a rich television history that includes roles in The Jamie Foxx Show, Kenan & Kel, Cousin Skeeter, and A Different World. His friend Isabel Beyoso, who is managing the GoFundMe campaign, explained the gravity of Sheridan's situation to supporters. “He has been admitted to the hospital twice in the last month due to an extremely severe case of pancreatitis,” Beyoso wrote. “He has not been able to work since April 12, 2025, and will not be able to return to work for the unforeseeable future.”

Beyoso further elaborated on the difficulties Sheridan is facing, noting that doctors have advised him to wait for his pancreas to stabilize before any further treatment can be considered. For now, he will mostly be bedridden as he focuses on recovery. “If we can all come together to help him financially with his medical and monthly bills while his body heals, I know this will alleviate a significant amount of stress from his shoulders,” she expressed.

In a touching appeal, she concluded, “Every little bit helps, and he appreciates you immensely.” This heartfelt message comes in the wake of another notable Disney Channel star, Raven-Symoné, who has recently opened up about her own experiences with body image and health.

Raven-Symoné, who gained fame as a child actress on The Cosby Show and later starred in That's So Raven, revealed on her podcast 'Tea Time' that she underwent a breast reduction at the age of 15. She shared that the decision was influenced by the industry's pressure to conform to certain beauty standards. “It was traumatic. I was a triple D all the way down to a B,” she recalled, explaining how she was told that the surgery was necessary for her success in Hollywood.

Despite her early struggles with body image, the 38-year-old actress has since embraced her body in a way she couldn't as a young girl. She stated, “There’s this beautiful embracing of the body now that I didn’t get as a young girl.” Raven-Symoné's journey highlights the ongoing conversation about body positivity and self-acceptance, especially in the entertainment industry.

In a recent revelation, it was alleged that during the filming of That's So Raven, Disney executives requested the use of CGI to make her appear thinner. According to co-producer Dava Savel, the network's handling of Raven's weight fluctuations was poorly managed, leading to damaging perceptions. In the book Disney High: The Untold Story of the Rise and Fall of Disney Channel's Tween Empire, it was claimed that there was pressure for Raven to conform to specific beauty standards, even resulting in a model being chosen over her for a runway scene due to her slimmer frame.

Despite the challenges faced by both Rondell Sheridan and Raven-Symoné, their stories serve as a reminder of the importance of support, understanding, and self-acceptance in the face of societal pressures.
